Well I've listened to some nonsense today! Another day we would have won by 3/ 4! Give pedro a chance he is working with what he has at present! For me we are 3/ 4 players away from a solid side! Garner was good today looked like he wanted a nippy wee poacher around him! We are short of a leader at center half and and midfield boss get those singings right and were not far away.

Would agree although I reckon that we are a minimum of four and probably five players short if we want to challenge for the top slot and definitely secure second. We need at least one, but more likely two centre backs and they need to be top drawer. We need two central midfield players, one of them a holding mid., and an assassin!

We also need a good strong centre forward and if we can't a quality winger then McKay can be deployed inside.

I guess, if he doesn't go to Notts Forrest then Tavernier could play right wing but then we would need to sign a quality right back, (because Hodson is not good enough) .

I agree with most of your comments but I'm unsure on Pedro, Murty totally changed the same team to get results but Pedro has taken us a step back with his formations and subs, miller should be up front every week not picking up every other tits pieces, McKay has ability but doesn't have defenders worried,
If we had appointed a local manager that had some knowledge and better tactics we would have been happier bears

Try at least 8 players for a solid side

A local manager? Who, like Macleish, that was a disaster when he lost the quality players, or McInnes, who has had five years to take on Celtic and has failed. Celtic has set the Bar at the level for all other Clubs with the appointment of Rogers, so that is the level that we should be aiming for if we are serious about competing with them.

Do I see Pedro at that level, probably not!, but I doubt we would have been able to secure the services of one of the top ten managers in the EPL, or a top manager from Europe so from the contenders that applied it looks like the Board, for their own reasons went for Pedro.

The guy does appear to be a winner, he does appear to be totally committed to the cause and I just hope that he has the contacts to be able to bring in five or six quality players with minimum financial outlay because I doubt there will be much money for him to seriously compete i the transfer market.

Whether he is successful or not only time will tell but we need to gauge his success based on the resources he has at his disposal and right now the vast majority of what he has in the first team are not fit for purpose!

At the end of the day, it is down to him to find the players that are committed but there is no guarantee that he will secure the quality needed without serious investment.
