Celtic are after Lucas, would be someone we should be looking at, there's always a way to scrape money together if you go for quality over quantity.

He's pish, slow and an average passer. I know he generally plays as a CDM so pace not as important as other positions. I'm a big fan of Liverpool and watch the majority of their games and although he has a couple of recent assists he's generally mediocre

Agree with you glasgowranger-living in a family of Reds I see most of Liverpool's games. Lucas has had a few starts recently due to Liverpool's injury problems. Like you say he is slow and a poor tackler-almost always a guaranteed booking even when on as a late sub. Not someone I'd feel we've missed out on if he goes to the other mob.

Honestly if he goes to Celtic he will be a top performer Brendan might get him major coup if he does any rangers fan that would turn there nose up at Lucas with the midfield we have knows nothing about what we need sorry

Agree Falkirkger people got to remember this is the Scottish league he will be coming to he may look average at times in the English premiership but he would be a quality midfielder up hear. We are in no position to turn are noses up to a player of his standard.

Sorry Falkirk Ger but Lucas being a major performer/ coup? Have you seen him play recently? Every Red I know will be glad to see him go! He may be better than our present midfield but that's not saying much, is it? Anyway our current midfield will either be gone (Toral) or squad players at most if they stay. So is Lucas a better player than Rossi ter, Kranjcar or the likes of Jack if we sign him. I'd say definitely not. If he goes to Celtic he would be about the level of Bitton who I'd say is their poorest regular midfielder. Like I said my Red supporting friends and family said"Celtic are welcome to him! "

He is Defiantly better than jack 😂 Come on he is a Brazilian international playing for Liverpool jack can't even get into the Scotland squad lol and plays for Aberdeen. Ryan jack better than Lucas 😂

Deanobear, Schidt was a Brazilian as well when the shaky mob signed him. He is not for me I have to admit, certainly better than what we have but then the Maidenhead United midfield is probably better!

I'm not saying Lucas is a great player and I understand Liverpool fans moaning about him as iv seen him have some shocking games but all in all he is still a far higher level of player to Ryan jack
