I'm seeing a huge amount of criticism for Pedro after last night. But let's put this in to perspective and take a look at the squad that played last night. Firstly injuries: Wallace/ Kiernan/ Wilson/ hill in the back line left us 3 players who have played less that 10 professional games between them and they were playing against the 2nd most potent strike force in the league. Frankly I think they did extremely well. Particular praise to young Wilson who was brilliant, quick, strong, good with ball at feet. We all seem to forget that McKay/ Dodoo and even Toral are only 21/ 22 and we seem to be extremely quick as fans to criticize what is easily the youngest, most inexperienced Rangers team that I can remember. Also- I do not recall a single manager using 6 academy players in one game. I did. It like the result. But I did like the desire shown by windlass. The composure and control that Wilson and (most of the time) bates showed. How Beerman drove forward and had Barjonas looks a very good player, shielding the back4 and reading the game well. Take heart bears! There were plenty of good points there to see. We were missing up to 5starters for this game.

What an utter rubbish post. The team were awful last night and Bates was shocking. Had it not been for the keeper it would have been 5 and once again most of the team were posted missing. Make no mistake and average Aberdeeb side battered us and the midfield was a joke. Dodoo is an imposter who isn't up to the physical aspect of the Scottish game and McKay showed very little interest.

Would also point out that Aberdeen were missing at least 3 regular first team players. Jack, Pawlett and Hayes all who are good top flight players and have had much better seasons than any of the players we had missing. Bottom line they fully deserved their victory last night and fully deserve to be second. Our team are rank rotten and the manager has so far been very poor. He talks a good game but can't deliver. Maybe he should just shut his mouth and concentrate on his own side. His selections, tactics and opinions are as embarrassing as his team's performances

You canny moan for us to play the youth then when 4-5 get in the squad and mby no play so well tear into them. Give them a chance to get some games under there belt. We gave the most unrealistic fans in the lge, get behind the youth players and support them.

Bengy, I'd like to say you are talking crap mate. Aberdeen had 5 shots on target, 2 of which resulted in goals, the other 3 were VERY comfortable saves. All the young boys played very well in my opinion especially considering their inexperience.

I gen think if rossiter and krancjar stayed fit, and Barton got given a proper chance we would of got 2nd place but they didn't and we've ended up with 5 players in our squad promoted from the 20s. Weve had a rubbish season. let's just hope we can offload a few of the ones who aren't interested, and back ped in the summer, at least give him 1 window.

They totally bossed the midfield and fully deserved their win. The keeper made some great saves and they missed a few sitters. Bates isn't the answer he isn't very mobile and his attempt to stop Shinnie for his goal was shocking. The team are rotten and the manager has been poor. I doubt even you can argue with that?

Bengy25 - Again you have missed the bigger picture. Bates has played 6 games for us vs opposition of a level he has never come up against and I think he has acquitted himself well for a young lad thrown in the deep end. Also - as you obviously didn't watch the game, Bates didn't try and stop him as he was marking Rooney, It was Toral and (should have been) Tavs who stopped his run, but Tav couldn't track an eclipse and Toral decided to collapse and wipe out windass.

Bengy - Stop and think for 1 second here pal. A 20year old and an 18yr old were our central defenders last night.

Also as a side note - I know people are praising Fods for his shot-stopping last night, but nobody seems to be saying anything about how he hung the two lads in front of him out to dry on numerous occasions with his terrible passing/ lack of command in the box and clear lack of communication with the pair of them.

Was I at a different game last night? Nobody has mentioned the gutless, hiding performance from Windass. A six footer who has all the physical presence of a 3 footer, hides when the going gets tough, runs 50 yards not to make a tackle, pulled out of one and sold the first goal. OK he made one at the other end but over 90 minutes was totally inept, he is one who must be shown the door. Also can't understand why Rangers play the long ball/ long diagonal and play with 3 up front all of whom are 30 yards apart? No point in Garner winning the header if no one is running beyond. Re youngsters, they did OK, Bates is shaky at times, Wilson did OK for debut, Barjonas looks a unit, and Beerman looks like a good option at left midfield.

They bossed the midfield correct - Reminding you our Midfield was Windass and Toral. They keeper pulled off 3 saves I expect him to make. bates is 20 years old and hasn't played first team football until now. He is better than Kiernan and Wilson and should have been playing this entire season. The team are dreadful, I refuse to pin the blame on Caixinha. You can't polish a turd, but he is doing his best with what he has. If the man wants a 4-2-3-1 formation then he is going to see what players suit that, there is genuinely no point at all going to say a 4-4-2 to suit our players then change it to a 4-2-3-1 later on.

You don't have talk some amount of rubbish mate. Bates isn't good enough he lacks mobility and is slow. Doesn't matter how young you or how many games you have played you can't improve these aspects

Actually I was at the game and if you care to watch their goal again you will see Shinnie goes by Bates as if he isn't there. You know just because a player is young doesn't automatically make him a good player. My opinion is that Bates isn't good enough and lacks pace and mobility. In my opinion he won't make the grade at Ibrox and isn't the type of player to move us forward. We will see what happens next season and if your right about him I will come on here and apologise to you if I'm right I expect you to do the same

Playing 3 in midfield was a shocking error as everyone knew how Aberdeen would set up. Also playing Miller there is ridiculous he is never a midfielder. Anyone with any sense knew that he played the wrong formation and that they would dominate in midfield.

Brian G - Please elaborate on how what I said was rubbish? I'm not claiming to be a football expert, but I am an analyst of the sport for my job.

Bengy- No you are wrong, Shinnie Drifted past Windass, Toral came up and managed to wipe out windass in the process forcing Tav to have to sprint to get at Shinnie and Bates had to come across and close the angle (Honestly not sure it was bates either as it looks more like Wilson from the highlights) My point is that you are quick to slate him and say he isn't Rangers class after only 6 games? Your expectations are way too high mate.
