Have to laugh at some fans. "Ryan jack will be a squad player" ehhh not being funny but he's coming in from a better team than us where he was there captain and played consistantly well for them? I think some fans are still stuck in a time when we could get the interested from BPL players but let's be honest what have we got to offer them?

While Jack looks exactly the type of player we should want in our ranks we need to be very careful not to assume that every player that looks the part in 'smaller' teams will be able to cope with the pressures of playing for Rangers in front of 50,000 every second week.

I believe that what we need is a mixture of the best young Scottish players supported by strong professional overseas players that have the CV's and the International experience as well as the hunger for success.

Players should only come to Rangers if they want to win trophies and are willing to do what is necessary to be successful.

Aberdeen are a English league 1 standered side so being there captain means nothing to me if we want to beat Aberdeen then great signing but if we want to catch Celtic and compete in Europe we need better.

Who do you want us to sign Messi?, we need to sign a few players who know the spl and Ryan Jack is a top player who knows the league well as for Europe it will be a while before we get a decent run in that, first of all let's concentrate on the league which is our bread and butter

Naismith, whittaker, novo etc were signed from scottish clubs and they could more than complete with celtic.
