Im reading on here about us brining out new tops? how is this working,? . does this mean we can buy tops now.? . can ed please shed some light on this if he can, i'm just a bit confused. thanks.

{Ed039's Note - there is nothing official on the retail deal and wouldn't expect there to be while there is an ongoing legal battle, nothing has changed in that sense

Puma and 32RED must put pressure on Ashley to renegotiate. They are not getting good value. When they signed up they believed the shirt sales could be in the tens of thousands not in the high hundreds. Good business practice that suits all must prevail.

Negotiations going fine. New top this summer and profits to Rangers.

In my opinion:

As far as Ashley is positioned in this situation, he has enough money to dig in and refuse to budge whether it makes sense financially or not.

He gets more than enough income from other sources and can happily sit on his erse laughing while no real revenue is generated from our club merchandise for any party involved.

32Red – They agreed a package for three seasons starting from July 2014. So that is up.

Puma agreed a five year deal starting 2013 so they haven't got long to run either.

Unless the board go against a contract (not a great idea usually) and sort a different kit out then we are stuck in limbo in my opinion.

It's annoying because our club is losing a source of revenue and because I want to be able to buy strips again!
