There are certain things that I really want to hear about soon.
Firstly the time for King to speak to the fans to inform us of any change to our financial situation should be happening soon, I know that he could and would not be able to tell us the exact details but there must have been a change to Merchandise Deal. Perdonally I think he may inform us of the change on the same day the new kit is revealed.

What makes you think there has been a change to the merchandise deal?

I don't see any change to the deal with our kits happening soon; sports direct seemingly have a water tight deal and we have a few years notice left to run unfortunately.

Take note of the fact that someone like Craig Whyte can be found not guilty; a good indication that Ashley would get off of any accusation of unlawful contracts etc.

LDM just thinking that King and the Board have renegotiated the Merchandise Deal due to our spending. Its one of three things in my opinion. Change to Merch Deal, new investment or King just like he said had funds of around £30m when he first arrived and he now intends to spend it on Players. Season Ticket money has prob been used but money to pay wages (players and staff) Stadium up keep, expenditure on security on match days etc.
Season Ticket money alone could definitely not cover all these areas especially when the combination of just the Transfer Fees come to around £8-9m.
Apparently the income generated from Merchandise is usually something between £6-8m.
BUT could be way off and the finances could be coming from the men currently at Ibrox 100%.

The money can't have come from 'new investment'as the motion to offer shares to new investers was voted down at the AGM last year. As there has been no new share issue then current shareholders haven't invested in the club either. Loans etc from the directors can not be classed as investment either, until such time as they may be converted to shares.

Rafbob

I think it could go either way in court and I'm not so sure the contract is as water tight as you think. You just never know how these things can go and it would be better if we some how managed to sort things out of court. Fair play to King though for taking on the contemptible Ashley. This guy gets his own way for too much and his business practices are truly despicable

Bengy,

I would happily jump in your boat and see Ashley's contract torn up, but I can't see that happening soon.

Hopefully you're right. 👍
