So my tuppence worth after last night:

A win but not convincing. Not overly worried though.

Fods-untested so unable to comment.

Tav-unconvincing but contrary to most people I would like him to revert to his original gung ho style as this would suit him and us better.

Cardoso-Solid and looked good at both ends of the park. Good find at the price.

Bates-Struggled with the big Armenian but stuck to task and came through well. Passed well.

Wallace-Looks jaded.

Jack-Efficient and solid. Good acquisition.

Holt-Broke up play ok. Not his best game. Should be kept but not first 11.

Dalcio-Showed flashes of potential but faded in game.

Kranjcar-Different level. Looked a class above everyone. no coincidence our goal came when Miller was on the same level.

Waghorn-Ineffective would be too generous. Just leave!

Miller-Worked hard. Got the goal. Was going to criticise his dropping deep too often but this is only negative as Waghorn wasn't effective in stepping up.

Good post. Some saying any form of criticism is a sign of not being a fan is ridiculous. Disappointed in the result, of course and lots are and no denying it. Miller dropping too deep into a role he's not good at and the right back struck me as someone McKay would have had a field day with. There were good signs but also warning ones that the Millers and Waghorns aren't going to cause any Celtic fans any loss of sleep.

Yea can't really disagree with you. I'm one of those who really like Tav he has Pace, Strength, Dribbling, Good right foot and i don't think he's as bad at defending as people make out however i do feel he loses concentration at times.

Probably going to get slaughtered for that but the fullbacks role has changed look at Chilleni or Ramos if they didn't change from fullbacks to Centrehalfs they probably wouldn't be considered as one of the bests as the are today.

Kfrazer, no-one is saying that constructive is not welcome. Dave King made the distinction between fans and supporters of the club and I for one agree wholeheartedly.
A supporter offers support to every player no matter what.
That does not mean that we cannot criticise a poor performance but aggressive vilification like Keirnan received last year is never acceptable.
Similarly, a few on here last night were descripting a few players as "pish" and stating that they should be booted out of the club - these guys pull on their jersey s and go out to play their best. may not be good enough on occasion but the manager will decide who stays and who goes.

BR65, enlighten me what the difference between a fan and a supporter is. I'm not saying vilify anyone. My penny's worth is that I'd have had McKay any day before Waghorn and Miller's not a 90 minute player if he's not being used in the box and even then not. It's an opinion, some will agree, some disagree but last I checked I'm a Rangers fan.

BR65, usually agree with you but Kiernan was so bad and receive do so many opportunities that I think all supporter were entitled to describe him as Tom Kite and single fish last season.
