What are people's thoughts on Alves' red card comments? i'm a little bit frustrated.

Firstly, refs will now find it easier to dish out a red to him when he's involved in any sort of hard tackle or fracas. Secondly, we all seen how much a red card can change the game (Hibs) and against a team like Celtic we need 11 to get a result, and we especially need him at the back!

Never read the comments, can you summarise?

He basically has said he won't change his style of play for the Old Firm game, despite that it's high pressure game etc.

Not sure what bobbybeag is getting frustrated for, Alves hasn't even looked close to getting a red card for us.

Must admit i think Alves is a concern. few games so far were he's came thru the back of a player needlessly on the halfway line and got booked for it. i think if him or Morelos got booked early doors we could b in soapy bubble

They will niggle at alves to get a reaction from him and from the type of player he is, I reckon they will get the response they are looking for but just a bit more brutal than they will hope. If he's to get a red against celtic I reckon it will be a straight red. Headbutt Brown.

Don't get me wrong, I love the guy to bits. Totally agree he hasn't looked liked getting a red card for us yet, was just looking to discuss his comments which were a bit odd saying he fears losing control of his temper in derby matches.
