I bet the Huddersfield Town fans are glad they didn't let their unknown foreign manager go as in his first full season they finished 19th in the league. I live in West Yorkshire and know more town fans than Rangers fans, they told me back then that they just love the guy and he needs time and they were losing goals but they could see what he was trying to do different. I never once heard any of them calling for his head as they aren't the worlds most decorated club and don't have the pressure or scrutiny. What I'm trying to say is the people who are questioning why the board brought him in don't realise it was a gamble that could have been the best option at the time and maybe (hopefully) it may well still be. If you didn't pinch yourself when you heard a big household name like Bruno Alves was going to come to us after the years we've endured starting at the bottom and didn't get excited that Mexican international players would be arriving then your telling porkies. He has to stay it's not over yet, the Spl as a product needed a shake up and dinosaurs like McLeish will not bring that, it won't help we have to see the bigger picture. I think it's vile how the media are treating him, they flour every comment up and twist it around. The game needs characters like PC, he wears his heart on his sleeve and I love the guy I really want him to succeed and I think he will if he is given time. Be patient because putting another manager in who "knows Scottish football" is the kind of nonsense that the English game and the product they've created and succes that league has enjoyed would laugh at. Don't you see that when most of the world think about Scottish football they think of the style of play that Motherwell dishes up every week and it's time for our league to welcome more Pedros as the game needs a change and the attitude of fans is holding it back. I can see what happening and we all can, every other manager is saying it's a bunch of foreigners, go and kick them off the park and they won't like it, it's true they don't so they have to learn so keep their heads and play football, they were panicking and rushing things yesterday as they were being hacked on every challenge. The team will come good have patience there's good things on the horizon. cue the pelters.

That is your opinion Matt and you are well entitled to that but in my opinion if he can't win 3 games in a row there's serious problems somewhere and that would get most managers sacked at any big club

He is a rotten Manager who can’t win 3 games in a row in one of the poorest leagues in Europe, he humiliated us in Europe and his team has lay down to Celtic 3 times already. There is no passion, fight or bottle in the team and constantly picking the awful Pena and hapless Windass defies belief. His passion as you call it seems to be squaring up to other players or managers on the touchline which to me isn’t befitting of a Rangers Manager. This man gives the press enough ammunition to have a go at him and he has no one to blame but himself for the media attention. He was a shocking appointment and has set us back another few seasons. Once he has gone someone else will need to come in and try and build a team. It’s going to take years to sort the mess out and the longer he is in charge the longer it’s going to take to sort out his mess
