Long time listener first time caller.
So I read with great interest that Mciness has been spotted with UGG boots on. Here's my story on him:
Silverburn shopping centre last summer I saw the guy. Wearing flip flops, white linen 3/ 4 lengths, and a vest top with the New York skyline on it. Now, I don't know what's worse. This, Ugg boots, or the fact he's got a frankly pathetic record against Celt*c? For me, all 3 add to the fact that this guy is never Rangers class.
Aberdeen are a small club and that he's once played (badly) for us is no reason to favour him.
Our stinking rivals appointed a class manager with pedigree. We cannot for one minute think that Mciness is the answer.

I'm not saying Mcinnes is the answer, but I don't get why people keep bringing his record against Celtic up.

When will people just accept that Celtic are lightyears ahead of Aberdeen and us. If Mcinnes had a good record against that Celtic side with such poor competition, he would already be at a EPL club by now.

Aberdeen have a fraction of what Celtic do fancially, in fact they have a fraction of what we have to spend, so I think to bring up his record against them is pretty poor.

I see a few media outlets reporting this morning that alan pardew has spoken to rangers, regarding our manager's job! Personally i'd have pardew before mcinnes as our manager, every day of the week! Don't know what all other supporters think, but that's my opinion anyway! What do you think yourself ED? Pardew or mcinnes?

Alan Pardew was my preferred option before we appointed Pedro.

I’d prefer Pardew over McInness.

My only reservation with Pardew is his relationship with Mike Ashley.

If macinnis gets the job I would get behind him 100pc but he wouldn't be my choice. I don't think Rodgers would lose any sleep if he became gers boss. If you think of managers out there that would love gers job we could get someone that could move the club forward I'm not sure macinnis is that guy.

In response to the OP. Gooner you having a laugh or wit? Wtf has someone's dress sense got to do with anything? F all, so points one and two are about as useless as point 3. He's done a brilliant job wi Aberdeen, could and maybe should have won the league when deila was there and you can't judge him on his record vs Rodgers, celtic atm are too good for anyone up here yet his Aberdeen team were unlucky not to lift the Scottish Cup last year. The guy deserves his chance at a big club.

Exactly bearmode, we can't compete with celtic with our budget never mind expecting someone to do it with aberdeen's budget. Mcinnes is the answer, look what he has achieved at st johnstone and aberdeen on a pittance, forget bristol as the guy had to sell all of his team because of financial problems. Mcinnes is a proven manager in our league, his teams are very well organised, they have fight and he knows what type of players are required for our league.

He has led aberdeen to three cup finals, won one and lost two to them. He has finished 2nd in the league comfortably three years running, he is currently a comfortable 2nd just now, I believe 3ish points behind them. Never overlook the obvious. Mcinnes will make us fitter, stronger and much harder to beat. Get him now and give him january and summer windows and I guarantee we will be challenging.
