Great statement by the club onwards and upwards. murty will do a job til we find a quality manger who wants and can do well in the job

Do you think so mate? I'm honestly embarrassed by that statement, better off saying nothing if your going to come out after DM has made his decision and in short say 'aye well he isn't good enough and we don't want him now anyway'.

It shows even more incompetence actually, because we were going to appoint a man who we now say isn't good enough? Shocking!

Jim Traynor shouldn't be employed by the club never mind allowed to post public statements.

People might be happy DM isn't the manager but you are kidding yourselves on if you don't think yesterday was an absolute beamer for Rangers FC.

That statement is a joke. honest to God who thought it was ok to release it. we are a laughing stock bcos of it. what it tells me is they never even had plan b. they are shocked that mcinnes said no. now it's murty till the new year. all they had to say was we asked to speak to mcinnes but Aberdeen refused us permission so we now move on to try and get the best possible manager for rangers football club. but no what do we do. we release some crap about coming to rangers is a big step with concomitant risk.

lmao, the position of rangers manager requires an ability to win football matches. lol you don't say. who is running the day to say affairs at ibrox is it Robertson and dixson. if it is the way we have just went about is all this is disgraceful. we used to be a top drawer well run club. not anymore. as for mcinnes saying no. he will never get asked again. lots of fans didn't want him but I thought he would have done well but now we won't know. So the rangers board wanted to “assess” McIness suitability to manage Rangers? What were they going to do ask some competency based questions. Eg Name a time when.
We all want the club to get back where we belong. This should start with the board and media team getting back to the CLASS off the field our club deserves.
Can I now please request a meeting with the board and media team so I can “assess” their qualities to manage Rangers. I will probably have to wait 6 weeks for a reply to that!
