Just listened to the man on TV and he says he doesn't want to tarnish relationships he's built up over the years and hence has to stay at Aberdeen. Now I don't mind an excuse if it's honest or at least remotely appealing to any intelligent life form but who does he really expect to believe a word of it? Would he have turned down a Chelsea or Real Madrid with the same words? Just be honest and say I'm happy at Aberdeen and don't want anything more in life. At least I can respect that.

No because Aberdeen fans have an issue with him leaving for their closest rivals. They would be pleased if he went to a huge club like thst
