Dont see logic in signing a player who can't get a game for Qpr. We need a midfielder who is ready for first team. Thoughts guys

Hard to give thoughts when, I for one and most I suspect, ain't seen the guy yet. I'd never heard of Declan but I rate him highly now its wait and see and hope we get Murphy, who won't be free for all those screaming we are skint. Same guys who scream, ed the same the last 2 years when we found £5 mil, £10 mil and best of all £3 mil to get rid of Ashley.

Well said Pete! Said on the rumours page that I’ll give anyone a chance! If we assume that he can cut it at SPL level then it makes so much sense, we have been really short in the middle of the park of late and he will give us the option of a 4-2-3-1 with him and McCrorie in the holding roles as well as cover for McCrorie in the Diamond and at centre half. We need to be versatile and this type of position needed covered this window. If we can get Murphy in this would be a good addition I think as well as a centre half and a back up RWB for Tav!

Hope the boy does well. Instead of relying on 'soft loans' if the club was run properly and within its means would we be any worse off, team wise? £8m in transfers in summer, who's worked out? Dorrans, jack, Morelos.

If you take Declan John he’s worked out and signed permanently for no fee he played well during his loan spell he got signed minimal fuss minimal risk and has a sell on value now it’s going to be all profit so getting these young guys in on loan is good for us I think

Agree Huntywallsend, why not just promote Jordan Thomson who I think is a fantastic Young talent.? What will he and Barjonas be thinking with this signing and bringing Halliday back?
