The penalty claims.

The 1st one I didn't think was a penalty he jumped with his arms in a natural position and the ball was played off his hand with no movement towards the ball. Andy walker definete penalty.

The 2nd penalty ball blasted towards martins face as he's falling to the ground he instinctivly puts his hand to protect his face. Penalty given. Andy walker not a penalty i think the referee was making up for the 1st one.

I agree RfcChris the 2nd penalty was given to make up for the failings of the first penalty

I'm I the only person that thought the first wasn't a penalty and the second one was? I know he puts his hand up to protect himself but it's still an unnatural position and the shot is goalboand.

1st 1 hit Bates on midrift, 2nd claim Bates is actually bringing his arms back in from unnatural position not a stone walker but I’d expect it to be given more often than not.
The award that was given was never a penalty due to the speed of the ball and the close proximity of our player to the ball, it’s just smashed off him.
In conclusion they should have been awarded 1 penalty and they were awarded 1 penalty but apparently we were lucky. If it was awarded at 1-0 and became 1-1 we could easily have gone on to win still.
