Believe he's worth more than 10m in reality but what event caused marked rise in his value?

1.) 22 Feb 2018
22 Feb 2018 17:39:57
He was valued at 10 million in a market where he could be replaced. We can't bring in players anymore. Therefore he's more valuable to Rangers and our season. We clearly don't have to sell but the 10m price tag was under the assumption that we would use that money in the window. 10m isn't worth as much when you can't practically replace such an important asset at this stage, if you take away a 10m asset from the squad and can't replace him until the season is over it would take more than this number now to make Rangers part ways with such an important player to our season

2.) 22 Feb 2018
22 Feb 2018 18:18:02
neymar and mbappe sent the whole transfer market wild

3.) 22 Feb 2018
22 Feb 2018 19:02:35
Morelos would be sold for £5m even if every other striker at the club was out injured for the season!

4.) 22 Feb 2018
22 Feb 2018 20:23:44
Calvin are you actually a rangers fan and I take it you don’t rate Morelos

5.) 22 Feb 2018
22 Feb 2018 20:50:18
Morelos is the leagues top scorer so of course I rate him! If we could afford to knock back the alleged bids reported in the media then why are we securing a loan against our assests with Close brothers? If you believe the guff bids reported in the media then you are not smart enough to be a Rangers fan! Are you a Rangers fan?

6.) 22 Feb 2018
22 Feb 2018 21:40:10
Yes I’m a rangers fan and and I do believe we have knocked bids back and yes I’m smart enough I don’t get how you can say if I believe the guff I’m not smart enough to be a fan so does that go the other way to you as well if you don’t believe the guff In the papers then your not smart enough you state things as if they are facts which they aren’t as you don’t know so please stop and where are you getting the 2 mil soft loan from let me guess the same guff media that’s have been reporting these bids I guess since every media outlet that’s reported the bids turned down all must talk guff and your the only one that’s right

7.) 22 Feb 2018
22 Feb 2018 22:08:17
Calvin, it wasn't that long ago you were saying morelos wasn't good enough. Are you a rangers fan?

8.) 22 Feb 2018
22 Feb 2018 22:12:45
Murty confirmed the bids. We didn't sell him because we will be better off as a team if we we keep him obviously. Not rocket science

9.) 22 Feb 2018
22 Feb 2018 23:07:10
@eezyeez no Murty did not confirm the bids. Murty confirmed there was a bid but did not specify the amount. Keep a player who we apparently recieved £7m plus bids for and secure a £3m loan against our assets? I don't understand that! Nonsense!

@Coldo when did I say Morelos was not good enough?

@gersman I don't get how you can ask if I'm a Rangers fan just because I don't believe something reported in the media. No I didn't get the £3m loan secured against our assets from the guff in the media. You can get all the details from companies house records anyone can get it👍

10.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 07:17:21
So Calvin much was the bids we knocked back them since you seem to be in the know as I can remember you saying we hadn’t knocked back this amount them yoi backtracked and said we must’ve but it wasn’t this amount dontell me how you know this and the amount as every media outlet sells to be talking guff and you seem to be in the know so back it up

11.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 07:51:53
calvin55 where do you get your info? Have you got someone on the inside? Calling a Rangers fan thick because we believe something that is in EVERY paper is something you would expect to come from the dark side, you've been rumbled and you're not even very good at the wind ups.

12.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 08:53:34
Not sticking up for anyone but there is something a bit smelly about our situation. We need loans to see out the season and have done for a while but can apparently turn down £9-10m? For Morelos? I really like Morelos but I don't think he's worth that type of money.

13.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 08:54:47
@gersman I have never claimed to be in the know. I simply stated I don't believe the figures quoted in the media regarding Morelos and used our financial position to form my belief and for some reason you can't handle people having different opinions to you.

@jyf I'm not at the wind up when I say I don't believe the figures quoted in the media regarding Morelos.

14.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 10:04:26
The clubs decision to knock back the bids for Morelos is simply a business decision, as a club we would be absolutely crazy to sell an asset like Morelos at this stage in the season, the player will be sold when the club decide that the time is right, by doing this the board are showing their intentions for the way forward,
Let me try to simplify it. you own a house and you are struggling to pay the mortgage. then some greedy speculator offers to buy it from you at a sum below the market value. your bank then offers to lend you some money to make some home improvements. then you can sell the house at a later date for more money as it will be worth more. this enables you to replace the original house with a new one. so by borrowing money for a short time you benefit at a later date, that's how business works. simple :)

15.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 10:13:58
Blueberry I don't understand it either mate it doesn't make any sense whatsoever. I would like that question put to the manager/ board because it's a question that definitely needs answering! But careful with your comments mate you'll get accused of being from the dark side the way minds work on here lol

16.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 10:25:54
For a start if your struggling to pay your mortgage no bank in the right mind would loan you more money when your struggling to pay your current debts! Only getting you further into debt which you are already struggling with! Its called responsible lending!

17.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 10:49:36
Calvin I do respect people’s opinions but you come on here shooting everything down as if you are in the know it’s the way you state your opinion that your making it out as if your in the know when your not and my opinion is we have knocked back bids I don’t know the amount but your stating it wasn’t the amounts said because we need the money you and I don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes so you don’t know the amounts like me so stop with this we have to take loans and knock back bid so we took loans and still spent money in the summer on players so that blows your theroy out the window

18.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 11:47:57
I wouldn't get too upset about this guys. Some people just like to 'sook the colours right out of a rainbow'

19.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 11:48:05
Jetmayfair, I don't think that's how business works at all. For a start if you are struggling to pay your current debt no bank in their right mind would offer you a further loan getting you into further debt. Its called responsible lending! We could then talk about remortgaging releasing equity etc but that would be getting way off track as the club are not remortgaging anything lol.

20.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 12:23:48
Morelos is the league's top scorer, but can still miss a barn door from 2 yards. I find it strange that anyone would offer £10m for him.

21.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 14:15:29
We didn't spend money in the Summer it was soft loans provided to us for the purpose of player recruitment. You couldn't afford the upfront fee for Murphy in January instead you took a loan deal. You then as far as you believe ko'd outrageous sums of money for Morelos. Then a few weeks later you secure a £3m loan against your assets for the purpose of making up the short fall until the end of the season and beyond. Perhaps you can explain to me how any of this makes sense to you? Because I don't get it!

22.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 14:26:15
You could say turning down bids for Morelos was a good footballing decision but its not a great business decision. If selling Morelos meant we didn't need loans secured against our assets, that is a good business decision. We now need to pay back this loan, which means taking money from season ticket sales, which then means we'll have less money to invest this summer.

23.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 17:43:39
Blueberry you took the words out of my mouth!

24.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 18:56:32
Calvin your a Celtic fan I know this with the reference above with you couldn’t afford Murphy fee if your a fan would that not be we couldn’t afford the fee

25.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 19:54:36
calvin. all businesses operate with a level of debt and as long as they have a regular income stream then its not a problem, Rangers are no different, that's how the business eases its cash flow and the banks make their profit, Even Man Utd are in debt by over 300 million, And by the way you have just slipped up there with "you couldn't afford Murphy" you have now shown your true colours . sad individual

26.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 21:12:27
@gersman you are clearly misinterpretating my use of the word "you". I asked you to explain how it makes sense to you if it was you that couldn't afford Murphy's upfront fee, if it was you that ko'd bids for Morelos but a few weeks later secure a loan against your assests. I know they are not your assests but by doing this seems to make sense to you whereas it doesn't to me. At the start of my post I said "We " didn't spend any money in the summer it was soft loans provided to us for the purpose of player recruitment. Do you really think I used the word "you/ your 4 times by mistake? Just making a point. So perhaps you can explain to me how it makes sense to you and stop looking for ways to avoid my request for an explaination by kidding on you misread my post lol

27.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 21:16:50
Picked up on the "you" aswell gersman. A rat can't hide forever, his patter is absolute gash 😂😂, had him rumbled before he gave his own game away😂😂. Its official calvin is obsessed😂😂

28.) 23 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 21:45:01
Calvin I don’t need to explain anything to you a who are you to request an explanation off me jog on back to your own page you’ve been rumbled don’t need your doom and gloom on here with all the info you have that’s correct and everyone else’s is wrong you don’t know and that is it
My opinion is we knocked back bids that’s all that matters to me and

29.) 24 Feb 2018
23 Feb 2018 22:24:41
Calvin, Your use of the word you refers to rangers football club.

30.) 24 Feb 2018
24 Feb 2018 09:54:00
Lots of clubs have debt your right jetmayfair but using man Utd? They have huge sponsorship, tv etc deals. We are a massive club but to go down the 'murray' road again? Surely not. As a club we've wasted millions. We shouldn't be fighting for 2nd, that should be ours at the very least when you compare our player budget to everyone outwith Celtic. Calling a secured loan an overdraft? What's that about? I've said before I really rate Morelos but if we got bids of £9-10m. I'd much rather sell him and be on a much better financial footing

31.) 24 Feb 2018
24 Feb 2018 10:02:12
@gersman if you don't need to explain anything to me then why shoot down the opinion that the bids reported in the media a load of rubbish. You obviously can't offer me a reasonable explanation and would rather just bury your head in the sand and make up reasons not to offer me an explanation!

@jetmayfair no not all business' operate with a level of debt. Yes Man Utd have debt so what's your point? You are not Man United ( nowhere near that level), you don't have any banking facilities nor a steady stream of income hence the requirement for soft loans and payday loans from Close Brothers! Just say what your trying to saying with talking about being unable to afford your mortgage and Man Utd lol

@coldo well done for picking up on my deliberate use of the words you / your 4 times. It seems if you post sensible posts on here and don't live a deluded bubble then you must be from the Dark side! Clearly I ruin the delusion for most on here with my educated, realistic and informed posts. No wonder they call us gullible after reading the single fish on here from people who cannot read themselves.

32.) 24 Feb 2018
24 Feb 2018 11:13:38
I'll say it again calvin, your use of the word you refers to rangers football club and not to gersman. You even referred to us as "you" again in the above post. Whereas a rangers fan would refer to us as we. They only call us gullable because of their unhealthy obsession. You know what I'm talking about. Here's an educated theory, The club has knocked back bids for morelos and windass because They did not meet the clubs valuation. Now if the club was that desperate for money as you suggest then why would we knock back bids for our players and then tie players down to longer contracts with higher wages? Why would we have bought docherty for 500k if we were desperate for money? Your posts reek of desperation and obsession.

33.) 24 Feb 2018
24 Feb 2018 12:35:54
Calvin again I’ll repeat my self for it to register with you my opinion is we knocked back bids don’t know the amount and as you say it’s your opinion the amounts weren’t the amounts stated in the media it’s the way you say it as it’s your in the know when your not so stop saying we didn’t knock they amounts back as you don’t know away back to your own page and give me peace
