Fellow bears with hand on heart after the last 6 years of madness does anyone else always have that nagging doubt creeping in before a big game? .
I know I do, I hope we batter that lot on Sunday it would mean the world to me but these days I always have that in the back of my mind.
To be fair to Murty he is helping to get rid of that and we are starting to instill the fear factor again.
Don't want to be sounding negative I just want fellow bears opinions if they feel the same or not. cheers.

I'm a pessimist by nature Tommy so I share your fears. We've lost some really soft goals since the turn of the year but we are also better going forward than we've been for years. So more grounds for optimism than for a long, long time and maybe that's part of the issue for me. I'm so desperate for this to be when we finally show we're well and truly back and if we don't win it'll be that much more devastating. As they say it's the hope that kills you. So c'mon Gers show that this is no"false dawn"!

Im the same mate, i am more confident about scoring in games now though, i also know that murphy and docherty will be so fired up more so than the rest of the team and that gives me hope get docherty on brown if he wins that battle i think we'll win, we have to start well

As always the engine room is vital still think we need a wee bit more in there with doc and Goss being youngsters! Both good players but can't help but feel they might get bullied

Have faith Tommy if it’s not Sunday it will be soon, they are on the decline and we are on the up, at some point we will meet in the middle and it may be sooner than there arrogant supporters think. If they invest heavily in the summer then it may be longer but we need to put one on them on Sunday and I’m confident we have the fire power and the heart now. Make no mistake, we have bears in the team and they will infect and drag all the others along with them in this battle, don’t fear defeat here guys, relish the battle!

We need a massive game from Tav and candeias, get Tierney on the back foot, for me we are in much better attacking form and the only guy I’ve actually not fancied playing in these games recently is Griffiths so if he is out then that’s a boost for us IMO. Don’t know much about Edouard but fancy he’ll be dangerous best way to go in this one is fight fire with fire and take our chances when they come!

A defeat won't spell a 'false dawn' Liverpool Ger, no matter what the result is on Sunday we all KNOW we are making great progress and will continue to do so. Just think back to where we were less than six months ago to where we are now. I'm praying as hard as anybody for a victory here, but I won't despair or criticise the manager or players if it doesn't happen. Onwards and upwards, and next season we will have our 55th title and put an end to their 10 in a row crap. No Surrender!
