Had a feeling we would still be suffering the old firm hangover. Next week we should be back to from.

I do think we have an underlying problems,
1.Windass or in fact his position which is wherever you fancy. This is great when we are going forward and we are scoring freely but the other way we need all 10 in front of the goalie to defend in some sort of structured way. If we have a free roaming player that will always give us problems.
2. Holding player. We need that Brown, Kante type. Now we are perfectly balanced left and right we need to balance front to back, sometimes when we are on the front foot we are playing a 2 1 7, . We may as well replace the goals with jumpers at that point.
Killie showed us that basics plus a goal scorer can win any game. We should have went toe to toe, we have better players.
Murty, I love but he has to learn faster or he will be down the job centre, I for one hope he can and get us back to the being the number one team in Scotland.
ATB bears.

I agree with most of your points TJBB! Personally i'd sell josh windass in the summer! My reasons, although he's a talent at times, i still think our club, especially at ibrox with our home supporters expectations, is too big a club for him! He hides for far too long in games! Against celtic last week he scored through that big dumpling boyata's mistake, and for 88 minutes after that we didn't see him contribute anything! NO matter your talent, that CAN'T be allowed to happen at glasgow rangers! Against kilmarnock yesterday he was nil and void, "the worst player on the park!
I'd hope murty remains our manager beyond this season, on a 12 month rolling contract! IMHO, we should also let big alves go at the end of the season and russell martin send back to norwich! I'd honestly pair david bates and ross mccrorie, as our centre half partnership for next season! I don't wear this patter, ie. they're too inexperienced! They both have experience of playing in the scottish game, even though they're still young! I would like us to sign kilmarnock defensive midfielder, mulumbu and pair him beside ryan jack for next season! Goss will be back at QPR! I'd move young greg docherty further forward, into the central midfield role, he'll be a terrific signing for us! I'd honestly play graham dorrans, in the windass position, ie. the no.10 role, which of course is dozza's natural position anyway!

When you watch Rangers now they're leaderless on the park. There is not one player who is captain material. When you think back to Greig waving his fist at his team urging more from them or Gough when you watched they teams you knew who was skipper. There is not one of the present side wants to take responsibility. I've no time for wee broon but you know who's in charge on the park for Celtic. Dare I say it but we need someone like him in our side.

Totally agree with all your comments cause I have very similar opinion on these players, although I think we should sign a quality physical holding midfielder in the summer.

Supercoopereleven. Interesting post, you mentioned Windass not contributing for most of the game against Celtic and i totally agree but Murty should have been aware of that and made adjustments. I keep reading that Murtys inexperience was to blame. Again i agree, changes should of been made to capitalise on Celtics 10 men. Instead Murty waited for nearly 20 mins to bring Cummings on. My question is why didn't the very experienced Jimmy Nicol offer his experience and advice, after all that's why he was brought in.

Tbh i Don't think it is that important to have a strong and/ Or vociferous captain in the ranks. What you need are strong minded individuals with a desire to go out and win matches for us. To leave everything out on the pitch for us. If you can get that kind of attitude and will to win from players you will never be far away. Just my opinion

Agree with some of your points coop, I think dorrans would be much more affective and consistent attacking midfielder than windass. Before trying to sign mulumbu, we should go for his current manager, Clarke. Murty maybe talks a good game, seems a nice enough bloke, probably a good coach but I've not seen anything to say he's the answer as manager. You criticize the players for not able to handle playing at ibrox, I think the same could be said for murty and his management
