Just to add to my Steve Clarke punt;

He was assistant to Rudd Guillit at Newcastle, Zola at West Ham and Kenny Dalgleish at Liverpool as well as Mourinho at Chelsea.

If he's offered the job doubt he would turn it down. Great opportunity. Once in a lifetime to manage Rangers and even celtic. Both huge clubs with massive fan bases worldwide and atmospheres at grounds is phenomenal.

Gullitt and Zola were great players but their spells as managers at those clubs were hardly anything to be proud of. Gullitt in particular was a disaster at Newcastle. Dropping his best player in shearer just to show he was top dog, although shearer is a arse

Shearer was a great player, no doubt, but I agree he is an arse. Can remember criticising him for his part in the popcorn teeth incident, but now I can see where he was coming from! Lol
