Murty's inabilities to make a sub when it's required or when to go for it when we're on top is costing us and showing him up as a development coach! He's never been in this position! Anyone who says give him the job will be settling for a battle for second and another trophyless season because he will not make us challenge! Tav captain before dorrans and alves sums him up! We need someone in charge with experience and a track record that can challenge them!

Lets look on the positive side. We've made a fantastic comeback that shows the mettle of the players. Same result as Celtic got at Fir Park incidentally and I for one don't know how you can say we'll finish the season trophyless. So negative!

aye never mind that the first 45 was as poor as we have been all season, if the players have mettle they should be showing it from kick off! 1 point from 9, facing going into the split in third and potentially only one point away from being fourth. don't bang on about Struth being negative mate, if you think the current state of the team is acceptable in any shape or form then you are mad. Any optimism at the moment is just blind faith, there is no evidence what so ever that we are ready for this semi.

I hope we don't finish trophyless but our performance's, form and results.
Murty is a decent bloke and probably a good coach. He's simply not up to being manager of Rangers

If you can find a positive from Rangers drawing a football game out with European competition then fan expectations have dropped to a worrying level .

Fitting Aberdeen for a silver medal and drawing isn’t good enough.

We are Glasgow Rangers .

Geromino

Sorry but if you think that’s good enough then your obviously very easily pleased. Their result against Celtic is irrelevant. After a really poor Kilmarnock performance the team were worse in the first half. Awful defending, passes going astray and too many players hiding. We are now struggling to finish 2nd and could finish as low as 4th. It’s not good enough and Murty is not the answer as Manager. Looks like yet another clear out in the summer and we need an experienced manager for the job

Same so called fans that were talking about a title challenge last month now turning on the boss. What a joke!

Yes we are Glasgow Rangers and all our successes have come on the back of stability at the top not chopping and changing every six months or so.

Get behind the team!

Stability at the top you say? Trouble is we are nowhere near the top. Miles off the pace and now on a downward spiral. The fact you have a new account and are spouting such nonsense i wouldn't be surprised if you are one of them just being a wideo.

Don't think any of the above posters said we could win league this season although am sure we all wished it. Our previous success was built on stability but more importantly we had quality managers. Souness, smith advocatt, even McLeish.
I think people are entitled to voice their concerns / displeasure at our current form and performances.

Very good Snell. lol

Read my post again. I stated all our successes have come when we had stability at the club. I never said we were at the top at the moment although we are second in Scotland and still in with a chance of winning the cup no matter what the naysayers might claim.

Murts is getting to the end of the season and while we are in with a great chance of silverware I won't be speculating on any new boss.

PS Today isn't the first time I've posted.

aye fair enough on that one, knew i had misinterpreted after i replied. too wound up and quick to react after another let down mate.

as blueberry says, stability is important when you have the right man at the helm, not an U20 coach masquerading as a football manager.

We all like Murty as a person and he was always between a rock and a hard place being asked to step up and steady the ship. My concern is more results like today between now and end of the season are just going to turn fans more and more against him.
he doesn't help himself with his nice guy attitude with the team either. Just said in his post match interview "he wanted to lampast the players" but he never. We need someone that tears strips off them when they turn in such a meek performance. glad to see you remain optimistic, i'm basing my concerns on what i watch every week and genuinely worry as i don't share your opinion of a great chance if silverware. i also don't fancy us in any games post split if we play like we have the last three games. and cup win or not, if we finish anything less than second then its nothing short of a disgrace and a lot of people all through the club need to answer some very difficult questions

We are now in the position of Aberdeen and hibs win today and their games in hand we are in real danger of a possible 4th place finish that's how bad things are, yet many say we have improved? I would like to know where. No team in the top 6 has Conceded more goals than us and no team in the top 6 has been behind in as many games as us.

That wasn’t even a come back a come back is COMING BACK and winning the game.

Sorry Geronimo if you think that’s acceptable then me and you won’t agree on much .

Every game for Rangers is a must win with the slight exception of European competition .

That’s the way I was taught anyway .

Geromino

Show me a post where I’ve said we are title challengers? I’ve said all along Murty isn’t the answer as Manager and needs to go back to the u20 side. Nothing to do with turning on him he just isn’t up to the job

no fans at the game the day turning on the manager or team geronimo but when the dust settles its time to face reality we need a manager.

At the game today all the fans around me in the lower deck were getting on at Murty so I don’t know where you are coming from on that one
The guy looked like a lost little boy sitting on a wall on the first half where he should have been screaming at them from the sidelines as that first half performance was the worst of the season in my opinion.
Then in the second half he didn’t know what to do, he didn’t know how to change it.
Dorrans was running on empty after an hour, Windass was hiding as usual and Martin is just rubbish.
He didn’t change anything till late on and that was because he had to because Windass got injured, I am sorry but the guy is tactically naive.
For me he will never be good enough to be Rangers manager and he summed that up today when we went 2-0 down and he went for a lean on a wall.
