Should maybe sign Andrew Davies from Ross county!

Andrew davies is probably the type of centre half rangers are needing bgate w! Just when you mentioned that there mate, it makes me think of the fallout of his tackle or stamp on broony the loony yesterday! Now let me state here and now, i don't condone that type of tackle in football whatsoever, as it could potentially finish a footballers career! But here's the thing with brenda rodgers and that captain of theirs scott brown! Its seemingly OK for that idiot brown to go around bad tackling and bullying other footballers but a total hue and cry when some other player does it to him! My message to broony the loony is "YOU REAP WHAT SOW", sucker! He's made a good few nasty challenges himself in his career! Honestly fellow bears, i'd have loved rino gattuso to have played against scott brown! It would have been a walkover for gattuso in who was the harder midfielder! A total NO CONTEST! Gattuso would have walked all over brown and trampled him into the ground! Rino would have been far too much for broony! Far too hard, to good an engine and just by far a better all round midfielder than brown! I honestly truly think kevin thomson was a better all round midfielder than brown barring the unfortunate injuries thomo had to put up with! My totally unbiased opinion back when we signed thomo from hibs and they signed brown from hibs, was we got the better player and ONLY injury stopped that from being proved and nobody will convince me otherwise!

Such a bitter bitter small minded man you are, a gentleman like Dave cooper would be embarrassed at you using his name 😢

Fair point Coop, but I think you will find Gattuso was a Champion League winner and World Cup winner. The bold Broonie is simply a turn coat who wouldn’t last 2 minutes in any of the big leagues in the world🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Just think he would stand up to brown and not be bullied like our lightweight players, I accept the guy is limited though

Supercooper, were you aware that Broon nearly signed for us. He actually took a gentlemans agreement. Just shows you what type of person he actually is to go back on your word.

Terry Hurlock would have had Broonie for breakfast.

The Lego muncher basically assaulted the young Hearts player just because he made him look average in the game that ended the domestic run. But surprise surprise, Brenda never saw that!

you weren't kidding? 🤦‍♂️

UJ, actually Brenda did see it and what’s worse is he claimed Levein shouldn’t be putting a 16 year old boy in against Brown if he can’t handle the physicality 😂😂😂.

Couldn’t script it. Classic double standard. Give as good as you get.

I find some of the above posts by our fans trying to find an angle to be explaining away the Andrew Davies tackle on Brown as cringeworthy ie Brown has sown what he has reaped.

That tackle was absolutely brutal and simply one without any justification and the Ross County player should rightly be facing a long ban .

Goalie, of course i'm aware scott brown was close to signing for us, as his pals from the hill o'beath used to sit across from me, in the copland rear! The gentleman's handshake on the deal for scott brown, was between our ceo at the time martin bain and that no user rod petrie of hibs! The fee agreed was originally £3.9million and when celtic came in and offered £4.4million, petrie went back on his word and agreed to sell him to them! Petrie did however go back to bain to ask him to match celtic's offer, but bain refused as had an agreement in place for the £3.9million! The rest as we say is history! So there you have it goalie and that was told by his pals, to many of us, who sit in the copland rear!

You do know why Davie Cooper left Rangers? A fabulous footballer, yes, one of the very best, but like most young men in the west of Scotland from his generation, he was blighted by his hatred of a certain faith and a certain club. No point blowing smoke about the guy as far as i'm concerned.

I take it you never met Davie bham? A nicer, truer gentleman you could never meet, so your slight on him or anyone else who is not here to defend himself is the act of a cowardly lowlife.

You obviously did not know Davie then bham. I did and what you are saying is downright lies. You are out of order with that scurrilous and wholly inaccurate statement.

Bhampot i do know the reason (s), not reason, why the great, late davie cooper left rangers! You're saying it was solely down to the signing of mo johnston! It was part of it and most definitely NOT for the reason you are saying it was for! The 2 reasons i'll tell you about why he left his beloved rangers was, he wasn't a regular in the rangers first team anymore and he was unhappy with a certain signing who spat in his face and called him an OB! So get your facts right before trying to decry a great gentleman and wonderful footballer, who is no longer with us! God bless the one and only davie super cooper!

Nothing cowardly about it, and i don't disagree that he was a gentleman to those around him, and a great footballer, but don't patronise me about anyone being flawless, the guy was only human and like the rest of us, had his flaws. I just don't buy into it, my own heroes had their faults, that's life. don't be getting all offended. He was no saint, like any of us. I used to mimic his style as a young lad being a left winger, because i loved the way he played. I just don't wear blue tinted specs.
