I was hoping Bates and McCrorie would be our CB pairing for years to come! The board have fkd up letting him go.

Don't know if any truth in it, but there's stories doing the rounds, that our new prospective manager, frank de boer, has instructed for rangers to let david bates leave, under freedom of contract, after discussions with mark allen! De boer has targets in mind he wants to play beside ross mccrorie, as our new central defence partnership! Remember de boer was a class centre half himself! Only passing on what i've been told bears!

He’s 100% replaceable. Said no to a new deal.

I liked bates thought he has been more dependable than Alves, Martin and Cordoso this season but I trust mark allen has something lined up for next season.

4 lads had a dream on twitter saying no contact with de boer but there's a list, suprised about bates but fair play

Super cooper
Can I ask one question who told you A - De Bour would be manager and B -Bates is not in his plans

I'm not bothered at all if we genuinely want to challenge next season bates would be good enough for like fourth choice centre back that's about it. I really don't rate him but good luck to him but I'm predicting he will not play one single minute for Hamburg first team then returns to Scotland for like Kilmarnock or something and is very average.

Btw I was meaning in a financial business sense. Obv he is replaceable! He is a young Scottish lad and it would have been great to see him and McCrorie form a partnership.
I’ve been reliably informed that FDB name hasn’t been mentioned as a possible manager and the players hope by winning on Sun and going on a run that Murty will still be in charge.

Am sure if murty was going to be the manager he would have wanted bates signed on for next season
So it is looking more likley new manager has been identified and has targets in mind

Thinkaboutit, that's 2 questions my friend in the school i went to anyway! Do you think for one minute i'm going to name the person, who gives me good info and works for the club? Be grateful i'm sharing the info i was told, on here among fellow bears! You either believe it or not! Your choice pal!

Supercoopereleven, you say De Boer has other targets in mind!? So your saying De Boer is the new manager from what you’ve been told?

Yet you’ve harped on about Murty and how you would give it to him?

Lee_McF, how hard is this to understand mate? I have went on regarding wanting graeme murty to get the rangers manager's job, beyond this season but i've heard a story that frank de boer is going to be the next manager! What do you not understand? Because i think murty should be given the job doesn't mean he will! This is 2 separate things my friend!

It's academic, neither will be Rangers manager next season. I've told you before, Allen is in deep discussions with Mikel Arteta. He's the first choice.
