Still hurting from yesterday but thought I'd put this out there. We all know we need new manager but with anyone watching that shambles yesterday, the McInnes fiasco, the money needed to challenge celtic and king not exactly covering himself in glory, can we realistically expect a manager of the calibre of Brenda? I seriously doubt we could and unless Brenda leaves then yesterday will be a regular occurrence.

SirStruth this is what I don't get. How can lennon, levein, Clarke do in my opinion very well with tiny budget but we can't do jot with ours. Well are in 2nd cup final this season and hibs prob have one of the best midfields. Can you imagine if these clubs had our budget?

All this if Brenda stays on we won’t get near them. what absolute rubbish. they haven’t been tested at all since he's been there except in Europe. Steve Clark comes in to Kilmarnock and in half a season he has a better points tally that’s what happens when another decent manger come to the SPL

I’m sure if the board put they hand in their pockets for a decent manger we will be closer to them make no doubt about it

It's no excuse, but part of the problem is the "old firm" factor. Everyone raises their game against us. Celtic cope better because they have the budget to buy better players. They are also well managed to be fair. I would argue that although our squad cost two or three time our competitors for 2nd spot, it is nowhere near two or three times better. Throw in the managerial merry go round and it's easy to see we will regularly drop points to Killie Hibs Hearts and if we don't shape up, Aberdeen
