Thinking about Sunday's game v Hearts, and hopefully Hibs and Aberdeen will have dropped points the day before, I'd go with a team something like this:

Alnwick; Tavernier, Alves, McCrorie, John; Holt, Rossiter, Goss, Murphy; Windass, Cummings

Morelos has had enough chances. Never mind all this crap about him being good at holding the ball up and is strong - he is paid to SCORE GOALS and regularly misses sitters! Wee Holt has been very unlucky to lose his place after a fine run of form before our new signings in January. Maybe freshening things will spur the team on and I'd be interested to see what Cummings can do up front.

cannot leave Docherty out. Agree Cummings needs a run and Goss should be back in.

Not a bad team but i would play morelos and cummings together instead of windass as cummings not good up front on his own.
Noing murty he will not change the team that much and prob will be two or three players he changes prob windass and alves in an possibly cummings

I disagree. Docherty has been off form and should be dropped. Morelos has missed far too many for me and should also be on the bench. Had Hardie not been on loan, maybe Hardie and Cummings would have been interesting?

Doiger. looking at your team mate I see one or two things that would concern me mate. dembelle rag dolled mcrorie, lafferty will do the same. the midfield three are to lightweight. agree with cummings as Morelos goals have dried up. no matter what the team is on Sunday everyone of them should be right up for it. then again how many times have we said that before .

Who is this Rossiter ;-) and why are you always bigging him up? he's done nothing but sit on the treatment table, biggest waste of money sense Prodan (rest his soul), he needs freed over the summer!

We haven't got any strikers that can play up front by themselves, we need a different system of play, with two up front getting in the box, morelos plays most of the match with his back to goals, and laying the ball off between the centre circle and the "d", or running down the wings, we need strikers in the box!, or players taking shots from outside the box like other teams

I think Hibs will get something from Celtic at the weekend. Celtic won't be too bothered about beating them as it only helps us

I think people need to get off young Rossiters back as he’s had a terrible run with injuries. You don’t Captain an England unders team of there isn’t something about you. Given the chance and the right support I think he could turn out to be a real asset. I still don’t know why we play with 2 DM as other than Celtic, I don’t think we should be showing that much respect to the rest. This would free up the extra person we need in midfield. I would agree with others and drop Fod to give Alnwick a decent run in the team. He’s a bigger presence in the box and seems more likely to be able to command his area. Given a run to build his confidence could be a good move. The team I would go with for Hearts.
