Bears, I know that Gerrard is inexperienced, but what about the likes of Guardiola, Zidane, etc.? These guys had minimal managerial experience and took arguably the biggest jobs in club football. Gerrard is football through and through, and most importantly is passionate and determined and won't take any shirkers.

{Ed0333's Note - dalglish didn’t have any managerial experience when he took the reigns at Liverpool, that didn’t turn out too shabby. Another example is Klopp at Mainz.
