Hi everyone, the more I've thought about it since news broke regarding Steven Gerrard the more I'm all for him coming in, he's a world wide very well known football legend who played at the very highest levels of the game . Won everything there was to win played world cups ect, clearly has a huge network of excellent contacts. He won't stand for any nonscence in and around the place and he will install a very hard working professional win mentality. I think this could work I really do. c'mon us.

Well the last couple of days took most of us by surprise don’t think anyone seen this coming. I think there are positives and negatives as long as we don’t become a Liverpool reserves team! What’s more critical now is the board have to be transparent on financial support and where we are heading. could be argued this potential signing is a consequence of big money coming in?
I for one will support this and see where it goes, just like the 80’s all over again

I’m for it as I just can’t see any of the experienced names being banded about taking the job it’s not the job it once was so for me a young well respected young guy like Gerrard could be a master stroke yes there are risks but I’m looking at the prositives he could attract players that wouldn’t have came he has a wealth of knowledge playing under great managers and I’m sure Klopp would give him advice we need to look at where we are and accept we are not as attractive a club to manage right now as we were so I’m for it
