I think Gerrard is a gamble but anyone we appoint will be, people saying he is to inexperienced maybe he is, but the coaching team he would bring with him will not be, he will need help and that's where being a team comes in, I personally would like to see him given a chance, but board must back whoever we get 100% or there is no point.

souness was given plenty of funds and bear in mind English teams were banned from Europe at the time hence butcher, woods etccc

Never mind a new manager Rangers need a new team and if anyone starts with all we need are 3 quality players then dream on. need about 7 or 8 quality players just to qualify for Europa and then cover for injuries. Need to give Gerrard £15mill minimum to start a rebuild. Then if he hits a bad patch everyone will be on his back again and as a young manager I can't see him getting through that. Too big a job, fans have too high expectations.

I think a few will go in the summer, including windass and morelos. Yeah they just renewed their contracts but that would have included a new release clause.

Marco - totally agree, can’t see Morelos attitude being liked by gerrard. Windass is another who will be found out - can see him down at Hull / Leeds. Gerrard is a winner and will bring in similar minded players
