Graeme if u want to return to Under 20s role then good on you but personally I wouldn't blame you if you told the rangers board to shove it. They showed you a lack of support and respect when it mattered.

Really they backed him over two senior pros (one the club captain) just two weeks ago?

He was given backing in the January window and had a good run at the start of the year there appears to have been some fallout from the 3-2 loss in March and it has escalated. It is ultimately the managers responsibility to have the team running well and being committed, he failed at that and he's gone.

3 wins from his last 8 and he has lost 7 games since he came in. It's a poor record regardless of the situation.

Ill give you my reasons why Murty was shown lack of support and respect by the board. Murty has made many mistakes tactics player selection but none bigger than how he handled the Miller and Wallace situation. He was Manager so he should have handled it next day in his office. Instead he went up to the board and got them suspended. The RESPECT from of the board should have been for them to say it was his responsibility to deal with and see how he handled it. The board then suspended players but as yet weeks later the players and their union have no idea what they are accused of. That has led to other players in revolt of this standoff so the board offered no SUPPORT to Murty by making this matter worse. Now today they say he has been “relieved” of his duties. Relieved of a job he never applied for in first instance. Yes the man wasn’t up to it and made mistakes but I just think he deserved better from this board in my opinion.
