Am I just being cynical or could they have just announced that along with Gerrard. Give the supporters a few days of excitement after the Gerrard appointment and thinking there is investment coming and a few more days of season ticket renewals while folk are on cloud 9? Weird they held out 4 days to announce a share issue we all knew was coming.

King did mention the share issue during the Stevie G unveiling. It's just a bit mystifying as to why he sets up another press conference to repeat himself, unless, as some have said, it"s a clever ploy to sell season books

Don't think there's any doubt it was a ploy to give a few extra days to sell season tickets
