Just been looking around the internet and stumbled across a story about a young (17) England player called Bobby Duncan. He was at Man City and is now at Liverpool. Well he only SGs cousin and a pretty bright prospect as a centre forward. I wonder if he's on the Radar. 17 is a critical age for a youngster and needs to get that real development under his belt to go on to be a success. His twitter page on the 4th and 10th reads let's GOOOOOOO. I wonder, what do you reckon bears?

By the time he is ready to play, success or not SG will have moved on.

Why develop such young players for other teams to reap the rewards

Fair comment Bluebells. Unfortunately It will be part of our business model to develop some players and then sell on. A 17 year old at Liverpool will not get 1st team football. At Rangers the lad over SGs 4 year period could get game time and let's just say he showed real promise at 19 after 2 years with us, sign for another 4 and sell on when he is 20/ 21. that's what will probably happen to Jordan Rossiter if he stays fit for more than one game.

There will be some real potential gems out there at the 16 to 19 bracket that will never develop into top pros because of the way the game is in England and other rich leagues. They need top competition at that age to make the transition. I posted I while back about Dutch football.

According to a Dutch Journo That why they used to be great as their youngsters were blooded young and developed into top pros and they had a production line of them which we benefited from. Now the young talent is bought up by rich clubs hoping say 1 out of the 20 will work out and the other 19 will be lost in the wilderness and will never see top flight football.

So hopefully we will see the fruits of Rangers efforts to develop our youngsters via the new game set up against top euro opponents. IMO we will see a raft of our own players coming through in 2 to 3 years time.

I know bit long winded.

Targets, wishesand hopes for next season bears?
1. Win the league or be very close, no more than 6 points behind
2. Beat Celtic at least twice
3. Win a cup
4. Get to the Euro group stage
5. Put Aberdeen and Hibs in their place
6. Draw Dundee utd in a cup at Ibrox and slash the ticket allocation and embarrass them on the pitch.
7. Skirtel V Scott Allan.
8. A total top signing that catches everyone out, eg Fernando T
9. Get some refereeing decisions, I know i'm on the glue.

Would anybody like to add to my bucket list, is there any team/ player out there you wish to humble.
