If you lived through 9 in a row years. You will probably have seen great players like Gazza and Laudrup playing for Rangers but my favourite player was always Jorge "the hammer" Albertz. Wathing clips of his play. Powerhouse midfielder who drove forward and had a bullet left peg. Exactly the type of player we have not had in years.

Certainly were lucky with midfielders in that era and just after albertz, gazza, reyna, gio and tugay to name a few compare them with holt halliday and the likes and we can see how times have changed

Good player but nowhere near as good sac Gazza and Laudrup.

Yea that sort of quality cost us 4 million all them years ago don't know what that would be in today's market values so am pretty sure it's out of our price range for a similar player!

Yeah you look at the free kicks that are wasted now, when you got a free kick back then and alberz stepped up you knew something was going to happen, what a left foot he had

Aye big Albertz broke a few seats during the warm up in the Copland front where I used to sit, what a left foot he had on him
