According to STV, we're looking at a deal to bring in Cummings permanently but our valuation and Forests valuation are miles apart. Do fellow bears think we should get him in?

By valuations we want him for free with Forrest picking up the wages for 4 seasons. He was absolutely useless in his spell up here with us.

Birdswing99, look at the full picture, regarding jason cummings loan spell at rangers mate! He hardly got a start and most certainly isn't suited to playing up front on his own. I still think cummings is a very good finisher and would be productive for us, playing in a partnership up top! If gerrard wants to sign jason cummings permanently,
then that'll do for me. I'll tell you one thing, cummings is a natural finisher and will only get better and better. In a 2 up front partnership, he'll be very good for us imo! I also think given time, he will learn the trait of being able to play through the middle himself! He's still relatively young Into the bargain. Give the guy a chance! You're calling himself useless without looking at all these contributing factors!

cummings scored a hat trick then benched for next few games fair enough it was only ayr but still a hat trick more than anybody else at us last season the boy was never given a chance and could suprise a few under steve g

Cummings is a top class striker in my opinion and played upfront with a striking partner that’s where you get the benefits out of him! He’s still young and learning as well and didn’t get a fair crack of the whip last season.

Cummings is rubbish so overrated by people on here he is no were near good enough which is why Gerard will not bring him back.

We haven't got a striker at the club who can play up front by themselves, hopefully SG will have a different set-up in mind and get rid of that idea that Pedro and GM seemed intent on sticking with. We'll need some signings though!

Agree with supercooper Cummings did enough to deserve another shot at the club. Thought he did reasonably well considering everything that was happening on the pitch. Played correctly he could score a lot of goals for the club
