Bears,

I share some of your anxieties post match, same old. However since i'm on holiday let's put positive spin on it.

1. 2 games played scored 8 conceded 0.

2. Arguably 2 of our best players to come in - Umar and Lassana. I don't think we are finished in the transfer market either.

3. We created enough chances for someone who could head on target would have got a hatrick.

4. Our bench is a serious upgrade Dec, Jack, Ovie, Midds (Ill leave out Haliday)

HOWEVER - Unless Windass, Morelos and Candias step up 2 levels we will not win the league. I think the management know this and will not hesitate for a second to drop anybody with a hair out of place - that's the Gerrard mindset.

Be interesting to see what tactics/ formation we play on Tue, now that we have a management team that can change things to suit our opponent/ occasion/ location. Personally think he will go for experience, poss extra midfielder to start. Drop Candias for Jack. They have extremely good pace down the left and Windass could be needed to track back and cover.
Just my opinion - i'm no expert, obviously.

Good post tjbb, I'd also consider Docherty or even Middleton for windlass. Other option Declan, in Flanagan right play Tav instead of windass.
I'm sure we will score

great post tjbb, ask ourselves a question could rangers live without WINDASS-CANDIAS. i think we could. this season we can't afford luxory players. i want players putting in a shift. fighting for the jersey. windass i'd sell tomorow, any club offering 3 mill pus snap there hand off. candias journeyman player not good enough. middleton gets you standing on your seat. play him nothing to lose. london jock

Good points lads, it’s early days, I think we were well off the pace last night, SG will know it too but won’t rinse them in public like some managers. Sideways balls and low intensity was not what I expected last night however the players will hopefully get more space when they come at us in the 2nd leg. I’d think we’ll win convincingly over there and I’d go 4-1-3-2
