So having watched that I really don't know what to say. Fair enough the important part is getting through and with clean sheets, the problem is that if we had to go and score goals I don't think we could have, we are toothless in attack. The defence isn't even in question really apart from the odd thing as they haven't really been tested but midfield forward there is no imagination, Ejaria came on and played a pass with his first touch that nobody else on the park has the intelligence to play and even then it was a run of the mill direct through ball. It was boring no energy no real chances of note apart from scrappy attempts. I am not ringing the alarm bells but if we play like that this season we will give away a lot of points. Just disappointed I suppose looking for some goals and a good performance at least and got neither.

Far from the finished article and with more players to come in I've every confidence in SG to get it right. We've been in such a bad place for so long and finally have someone in place with knowledge and a will to succeed so let's put our heart hand sword and shield into staying with them. Fair enough i know its just the start of our season but are we still going to be saying that when we are still playing poorly into september, still toothless in attack with no energy and guile? All I am saying is that while being through and with clean sheets are positive, it's still very poor.
