Am I the only person who remembers Lafferty being utter guff the first time we had him? He was regularly boo’d by us most home games. I can’t hinestly believe that SG had even heard of him never mind wanted to sign him, it’s got the board signing players all over it?!

He's matured a lot since then. If he brings his NI form then he'll prove to be a very shrewd and successful signing.

I have posted before that I think Morelas will be better player with better players around him. Other people have posted that they want rid of him. that's fine it's all about opinions but I can't see Lafferty being a better option than what we've got at the club. I agree with supercoop we've got to trust manager but Lafferty signing looks like cheap option.

Perhaps, just frustrating that some fans think he is the Messiah rather than another low cost second choice signing.
