Done deal for lafferty 2 year contract an e excellent addition to the squad and will get us important goals this season👍🏼 Terrible news about Murphy I do think we do need to replace him. Hopefully we can get another winger in and cover for centrehalf and it has to be said the business We have done in this transfer window spending very little money as well has been top class.

Bad news about Murphy but it could leave an opportunity for Middleton. I know some say too young but think of Dalglish and Rooney at the same age. Nobody held them back.

Middleton needs some spl game time asap to continue his rapid development, no use in him going to another team on loan or being demoted, he will come on leaps and bounds with games and to be fair, he could well keep Murphy out the team.
