I've always believed you should play your strongest, in-from 11 and the depth of a squad is there in the event of injuries, suspensions and loss of form. This tinkering won't work. Why Katic wasn't playing is a mystery. Kent and Middleton have been very good recently yet didn't start either. The reality of the SPL table is that apart from Hearts, teams are dropping points. Only three points separate 2nd from 6th with the sheep behind us. Plastic pitches have no place in senior football and the SFA must do something about this. Not an excuse, but clearly these pitches are a leveller. Rant over but still excited about the start SG has made.

Didn't see the match but can't believe we lost to Livingston. I thought we were on the up and had the quality of player to win this league. I can't imagine a single Livingston player would make our team, never mind bench. Yeah I know of Berwick Rangers and 1967 and all of that and football's football but surely we all predicted a win yesterday?

Wish people would stop blaming plastic pitches. The Livingston players didn’t seem to have any issues playing football on it, passing, tackling and creating chances and our best away performance was on the plastic pitch at KIlmarnock. It doesn’t look like they are going away anytime soon so we are stuck with them and constantly moaning about them is becoming tiresome.

It should be borne in mind that Livingston have beaten Hibs already and drew 0-0 away with Hearts. Clearly they are hard to beat but I agree we should have beaten them given our recent run of form.

DOIGER I agree with Livi being hard to beat and credit must go to them for playing in a way that suits them but to watch our attacking player be completely devoid of ideas was hard to take.
I’ve said it before that we lack penetration from a central area. We are too predictable and other teams know we will try and throw in crosses.

The problem we have is we want results now which is acceptable we need to be a little bit patient we are new squad and it will get better there’s going to be a few blips on the way this time next year is time to judge the squad is young there will be new personal by then and year wiser.
