Couldn't believe worrall started, barisic not starting I could see as he has been average recently and big Flanagan solid at left back . However I couldn't believe how well worrall played, he was superb . Looked composed and a lot sharper than the weekend . Funny old game football eh?

Obviously the boy Worrall was still quite rusty and needed game time. I'm sure Gerrard knows which players can do what and he has to get them to that level. It happened with Kent and Ejaria when not so long ago many fans were screaming that they were dross. Coulibaly and Flanagan have also suffered at the hands of the boo boys and the keyboard critics.

Yes i felt sorry for katic getting left out but i have to say Worrall hade a great game the header at the end that lead to the goal was excellent there's to many dafties on hear to quick to criticise some players.

Hard to be too critical to worral for Sunday as the whole side were poor, however he did need a big match last night and he delivered. We have 3 very good centre backs now and i'm sure we will use each of them accordingly. Would imagine katic will come back in vs hearts on Sunday.
