Hoping someone can end a work debate here. Right, first goal yesterday, had Morelos knocked the ball forward instead of back to Kent would Kent then be in an offside position?

He did play the ball forwards. He wasn't offside because he was behind the ball when it was played.

If your run starts from behind player playing doesn't matter what direction the ball travels. Onside regardless.

You can not be offside if you are behind the ball when it is played.
