Does anyone else on here like the look of young Lewis Ferguson at Aberdeen he’s scored some big goals for the sheep Recently for a 19 year old i think he has potential and he’s Derek Ferguson’s son so bound to be a blue nose.

He was released at 14. Kids develop at different ages. The youth coaches have to go with who looks best at the time. Essentially its a bit of a lottery, someone could be great at 14 but not develop any further. And vice versa.

Do you live on Mars, He was released after a number of years in the Rangers youth system, was told not quite good enough. His Uncle is Barry - Of course he's a flipping bluenose.

Shame we released him. I hope he goes on to have a good career, away from Aberdeen hopefully. We won't be getting him back any time soon from the sheep, he's on a long contract and they won't do business with us.

FB he was released at 15. When they reach 16 pro contract we have a decision to make. Unfortunately some players develop wee bit later than 15. We can’t give everyone a deal.
