After another disappointing defeat to the sheep we find ourselves at the footballing crossroads on here with posters opinions.
Some want to put the car into reverse and are hailing McInnes as some sort of footballing manager messiah!
Others want to veer left or right discarding half the team or manager and replacing them with who knows?
Some claim Morelos is a liability but wouldn’t take anything less than £15 million for him.

Others want Wallace brought back as some sort of saviour forgetting he has underachieved for 3 managers in the top flight and undermined 2 off them.
Some on here are having a pop at others for not having the guts to slate players. I prefer to look at where we are overall this season.
Punching above our weight in Europe and still challenging at the top of the SPFL.
I think most of us would have bitten the hand of anyone who offered that at the start of the season.

Yes the team were Tom Kite last night. Yes the manager has to take some of the blame as well.
But totally berating the same players who have got us to where we are this season? Sorry, that’s not my style.
He picks the team and the tactics so has to take it on the chin when we have a blip. But he can’t be blamed for individual players losing the plot through indiscipline.
Not one person on here can say that The Sheep have outplayed us on any of the 3 occasions they’ve played us this season.

Frustrated us? Yes. Lucky? No. Better than us? Definitely not. They came with a game plan and stuck to it. We currently don’t have the personnel to break teams down.
But Gerrard has said he would like to address that issue in January. A creative midfielder is a must.

Back to the footballing crossroads. Me? I taking the straight ahead option knowing / expecting some bumps along the way but never the less enjoying the ride.
We have some tough games remaining in December.
Time for the players to step up.
Time for Gerrard to rally the troops.
Time for us to back the team as only we know how.
In Gerrard We Trust.
Let’s Go! 55!

Couldn't agree more uj. Some folk have short memories. A combination of poor play and bad luck did for ua last night. We accept it, boot Morelos in the nether regipn, and move on.

Well said UJ.

I'm convinced Morelos is as thick as two short planks, how many times can you tell an individual not to do stupid things, and Tav is not a captain in a million years. Last nights result doesn't get away from the fact we are a massive improvement on last year and it will only get better under SG.

Biggest problem I feel with Morelos is he does not understand English. So he does not know what. Players are saying to calm him down.
Eighteen months and ant grasp basic phrases, poor.

Your being very very harsh on Wallace who has been nothing but loyal to the club. I can understand Borisic keeping him out the team but not Flanagan or Halliday. Also surprised at the way some of the support have turned on Wallace. That’s people with short memories.

@arthurd - short memories? Are you forgetting Wallace was earning £10,000 a week for playing in the 3rd division? Or that his girlfriend was pregnant at the time and didn't want to move South?
Loyalty is a 2 way street.

ArthurD he is not fit enough to play in first team.

Union Jack,

So now you are slating him for staying? Do you know his wife personally that she told you that? Absolutely incredible that you have turned on a guy who was loyal to the club when others left and are now using him staying as a stick to beat him with. As for his wage he was entitled to that and there were plenty of people bought by Ally that were on healthy contracts that contributed nothing Kevin Kyle for one.

Jboy21,

According to Gerrard the only reason he isn’t playing is because he thinks he has better players in that position than Wallace.

When was the last time you watched Flanagan at left back? He has been awful and I can’t imagine Wallace a natural left footed player would be worse.

@arthurd - where have I slated him for staying? I’ve given you reasons why he stayed . And the girlfriend one came straight from Wallace’s mouth in an interview at the time.

I’m just counteracting you and others elevating him to club legend status. He was a good player for us and gave some fantastic performances at times. But I think you and others are forgetting he was out of form for a few months prior to his injury nightmare.

I’ll stick with Gerrard's decision to not play him and if you think Wallace would have made a difference against the Sheep then that’s your prerogative. 👍
P.S. next you’ll be wanting Miller back after his midweek hatrick! 😆.

Bindo, in my opinion Wallace is no where near the fitness level of Flanagan, Flanagan should not be played lb either.
