Been on this site for some time, first post here though. Here goes.

There are some guys calling for Gerrard's head after about 7 months and one transfer window which is ridiculous. Yes recently results haven't gone our way I agree. The problem with all of us is we expect to much to often, we expect to win every game when in reality won't happen. When was the last time top of the table was this close at Christmas? When was the last time we got that far in Europe? c'mon last season we were knocked out by a team who had never won a European game before! He'll need at 2 seasons with a couple of transfer windows. We still carry a lot of dead wood in this team which needs to go. It will all take time and patience. Get behind the team. Get behind the manager ✊🏻.

While I agree with your pragmatism, we are now six years after the Rangers liquidation and it was always going to take at least 5 years to recover. Whether we like it or not the room for latitude with the fans is over and while we have no Devine right to win every game we are entitled to have expectation. Competing club fans continually remind us when we fail that we have by a long way the second biggest budget in the league. They are right and we should be starting to pull away from the other 10 clubs based upon this budget.

I have said before that we only have two players who would feature in a previous Rangers title winning squad so for me we have at least 5 player improvements required before we will seriously challenge Celtic.

Redwhiteblue we need to give Gerrard time as a rebuild can't be done in one transfer window, hopefully the board can help raise funds required! We probably need to unearth some gems in the process.

Redwhiteblue I agree but2 things are obvious, should never keep changing the central defenders the must have a good understanding with The keeper and that won't happen if you chop and change every game and secondly Tavernier is never a defender and never a leader of men therefore should never be captain, a blind man could see that.

Not really seen too many people want his head and as you say he needs a few transfer windows to build his team. I think he has had his eyes opened recently about some of the players who have been a massive disappointment however at the moment he can’t really slate the players too much. Possibly expect to see 4 players join in January with 4 or 5 leaving.

I think it is vital that SG lufts the team for Saturday and we sign off with a win before the break. It would ger the monkey off our back and give the whole place a tremendous lift. With 2 or 3 quality additions along with the return of some of the walking wounded and i don't think we would be far away.
