If the rumours of Katic's dad being terminally ill and the boy struggling are true, would anyone be against loaning him out to a Croatian club for half a season? We've been linked to a few centre halfs and if one were to come in, I think it would do the boy the world of good?

If true then yeah this would be a good idea. Would be much better for his mental health as well as the game time improving him as a player.

Absolute reiterate everyone above and their much heartfelt comments,
regarding our centre half, nikola katic! This is when football is put into perspective! My heart goes out to katic! I would think our club and manager steven gerrard, would sort something out for the boy!

Whatever is in the boy’s best interest will take place. Personally I think the boy has terrific potential and is an out and out defender.

Terrible news. Bad enough but made worse by the lad not being there for his dad. Thoughts are with him.
