Probably just me that thinks, over the past and present few seasons, our defence although improved has been responsible for some of our defeats and draws by supposedly lesser clubs.

Unlike the most successful EPL clubs, we don't always seem have two defenders in our own half to stop long ball counter attacks that I feel have been instrumental in us conceding late goals.

Having said that, of course although Stevie is a rookie manager I firmly believe and trust in him to get us to where we want to be sooner rather than later. C'mon the Gers.

Goals win you games so most of the blame lies with the attackers for me also the games we have lost have been down to individual errors.

Games we have lost or drawn in most cases we should have been out of sight.
Having 20+ corners and 70% possession and not getting 3 points is criminal against 'lesser' teams who are woring their socks off.

I would agree the bear, the amount of times we have been ahead and been pummeling opposition defences without scoring a second, then we lose a late goal. The essence being we should/ could have been comfortable.

Couldnt we just say the team rather than defence or attack getting the blame.

Don’t know how you can blame the attackers since we have been top scorers. It’s been collective. Poor players all over that needed replacing.
