Read on news now we are meant to be paying 65k a week for defoe. If this is true i think the board need to rethink transfer policy. We could have got 2 good quality younger players in for that kind of money.

If we are paying that kind of wage then we must have sum serious financial backing from our investors.
The signing of Defoe and Davis certainly means we are going go for the title and a couple of younger players mite not provide what Davis and Defoe will to the team.
This is a high risk move by the club if wages are true but maybe the club think the rewards outweigh the risk.
Us fans would be over the moon if we won the league this season and stopping them winning the league then the club would also get a shot at trying to get in the champions league and if achieved the financial rewards but be very rewarding for the club.
