Morelos is a fantastic footballer but why does he have to get involved when it isn't necessary? The incident on Wednesday night is a good example. I don't think he stamped on McKenna but he didn't need to put his foot anywhere near him! He is now out for three games, but fortunately the two league games are against St Johnstone and Hamilton. This is why Gerrard has Defoe and Lafferty in the squad - time for Lafferty to step up. The decision to charge McGregor is outrageous. He came and won the ball. How could he completely control his trailing legs? Keepers used to be protected in any penalty box clashes, unless now of course you are the Rangers goalie. As for tonight's game, I'd play Lafferty from the start and push Kent forward and bring Davis into midfield then bring Defoe on after about an hour or so. It seems that Scottish football is against us but we really should stop giving them ammunition for their poisonous, bitter guns. Come on tonight Bears and shut that other Timmy up!

It's not his trailing leg doiger, he leads with the studs so how is that his trailing leg? He 100% tried to do the kid it wasn't anything to do with protecting himself. Unfortunately he gothe what he deserved.

Frustrated blue, maybe the term trailing leg was used wrongly in my case, but the point I was making is that it must be hard to control your legs when sliding on the grass to collect the ball with your hands, that's all. If there was an offence, it might have been a yellow at worst.

Unfortunately I have to agree with Frustrated blue it was a very dangerous challenge. Red card and penalty. McGregor can have no complaints about the ban.

A lot of great points well made Doiger but i have to agree with the other guys about McGregor and say that i think he knew what he was doing and deserved the ban. Having said that other keepers in other games have done exactly the same thing and have got away with it. Funny that because we all know the corridord of power are populated entirely with masons and orangemen. Aye rigjt!

Yes guys, I supposed I was wearing my blue-tinted glasses! It is just that it seems that any chance to punish Rangers players or the club is gleefully taken by the rest of Scottish football. The blue bells will ring out loud when we regain the SPL title! I'd love to see Stewart, Thompson and Walker's faces when that happens.

It was a red all day long. Should we have appealed it? Probably not. It was a stick on we were going to loose! There was no way this was getting overturned after the uproar of the last Old Firm game. It's trial by tv, pundits, ex players, managers and the puppet master pulling all the SPL and SFA strings. I can't even bring myself to write his name.
Would I change Morelos? Never! He's the best we have and we should be grateful he's ours. To hell with the usual suspects bashing him every week on tv, in the papers, social media etc. He's never going to change and I'm glad. Teams are terrified of him and long may it continue.
And before anyone starts that he's no good to the team in the stands, I know that. However, he's still going to end up the league's top scorer! If we try to change him, we might not like what we end up with.
