Just watched a reply of the spoon burners goal from Friday.

What planet is Tav on? Seriously. What is the guy thinking? Has all the time in the world to back track and mark his man. That really isn't good enough.

I praised him on here just days ago but yet again his defensive capabilities are laid bare. Not good enough from a Captain.

It was the same with Candeias, he ran all the way back and just stopped, leaving Kamberi all on his own. We are one up surely they need to be aware of what is going on around them?2 big points thrown away in a game that should have been over at half time.

He was too busy feeling sorry for himself because he never got a foul. He should have got up and chased it . doesn't show u on tv but McGregor went ape at him in the run up to the goal telling them to cover and after the goal as well.

Candeias has to take some degree of responsibility. When the ball is squared he's standing with his hands on his knees watching. He was the only one who could see kamberi yet just stood still. He shouldn't be just leaving him unmarked because it should be tavs man.

Always said Tav was hopeless as a defender, always wants to be upfront attacking leaving the defence wide open on counter attacks.

Make him a midfielder or we will always suffer this problem wi him.

A large proportion of the goals we lose come from the right back position. For all his abilities on the ball he does not have concentration levels to play at the the top level.

A lot of fair points made but what about the fact we should have been 3 up by half time? Naw, drop points and let’s all blame Tav.

So, yet again Tav is being the scapegoat.

He gets fouled just outside the opponents box, but should be able to get up and sprint past the players who are behind him and make the tackle on kambari.

Sometimes other players need to take responsibility.

No doubt candieas is at fault. He just stops and takes a breather at a crucial time.

I'm sure sg expects his players to cover when others attacking.
