In the main, we are not turning up for the big games in this latter part of the season. In my opinion too many games has nothing to do with it. It's poor personal. We have not had the quality playmaker we so obviously, desperately need since Davis the first time around! I not sure Davis will be it this time around either. Morelos is quality, Defoe is quality, I'm going off script here, but I reckon Candias is a great player for us, as is Kent, but yet we STILL can't finish the big teams off! There will be 6 or seven players off this summer, maybe more, and I would love a chunk of this cash sunk into the purchase or loan of as top a drawer playmaker we can afford. Any opinions who could/ would come?

Imo candeias needs replaced. his balls in are terrible, he crosses the ball that often that occasionally one hits his man and we think he's incredible at balls in but in reality he just crosses a lot.

Candieas for all the graft he puts in is awful. End product is so bad. And the defence after all the cash gerrard has spent is jo better than what they have replaced.

Paul86 I would actually say our defence has improved albeit not by much. Last season in the league we conceded the most in the top 7 but also scored the most goals in the league. I hate to say it but when we lost windass we lost the goal scoring ability from midfield.

Kylel1872 defence has improved a lot, last season conceded 50 goals in league, only 21 to date. One three and one two, rest single goals. Remember teams were putting FIiVE in against us.
We need to score more of the chances we create, and conceded even less to win league
We are also on target to score more league goals than last season.
So despite, Coldco view, which I respect there is some progress, we have to put away more teams and not be bullied on the pitch.

Said at the time on here I thought it was a mistake selling the josh windass, the whipping boy from last season and got slaughtered by the usual suspects on here. 20 goals a season gone, more than arfield Kent and candieas combined. Apparently didn't turn up tho 🙈.

Fb people on here pick one or two targets who are actually delivering the goods i. e. Windass as u say.
If we had kept him we would have won more games in my opinion.

Jbhoy, for the 10th time 4 points better off is not progress. We might have conceded less goals but that's because we are getting beat 2-0 instead of 4-0. that's not progress👍.
