Our failure to break teams down is down to the lack of a runner from midfield who gets beyond the striker . It's also put inability to hit first time passes or shots. Other than Arfield who is great at one touch football everyone else needs 5 touches of the ball before they play a pass or take a shot.

Watch the last 8 games. We have very seldom attempted a direct shot on goal without taking a touch. When we do it we give other players the chance to follow up and have another shot on goal but we don't seem to believe in our abilities to strike at goal this way. Creative play folks, we don't have it within our current line up. Without wee Kent we would be trying to walk the ball into the net. Just an opinion but its what i'm seeing from week to week at the games.

Kent is one of the problems, holds ball too long and always turns into trouble. Needs to get to bye line more.
