It seems that Gerrard can't win sometimes, I see plenty of criticism of him changing a winning team yet some saying he doesn't change things enough. I think he needs to be smarter during matches and be able to affect the game but it's not happening. Although it doesn't help when half the players can't be trusted to maintain any sort of form. Guys plays a blinder one week and terrible the next. The drastic change in tempo does baffle me, I understand that the Celtic game would always bring an extra bit of drive but the intensity drop from that to other games is alarming.

SG has taken a bit of a hammering since Tuesday on here. Here are a few statements that could be taken to heart by us:

1. Rome wasn't built in a day

2. It took Sir Alex Ferguson 3 years to win a Tophy at Man Utd.

3. Patience is a virtue found seldom in a woman, never in a man.

I agree he has made mistakes, he has said so himself. Not only is he young and a rookie, but it is his first season in Scotish football.
