Six or seven yrs we have been trying to build a team.
so who's accountable?

managers?
director of footie?
chairman?
plays?
all of the above?

is Gerard to clever at times? does he have the support £££££ wise?

Do you honestly think that if a similar financial meltdown had happened to Man Utd or Arsenal for example, that they would have been dumped down to League 2 or worse with all that such action would have entailed? That's what Scottish football did to us, so yes they are to blame. Of course we had the corrupt morons like Green and Whyte (how ironic) but at the end of the day none of this was the fault of the incredible Rangers fans. We'll get back to the top again. This is only our third season back in the Scottish Premiership so it still a work in progress. SG will get us there!

You're right doiger it wasn't the fans fault and we have suffered the most but rules are rules and we are not above them. If I remember right livingston got demoted so it would have been unfair to make an exception for us. Onwards and upwards starting tomorrow👍.

So you change rules for "big" teams?

The problem is we have never been 'building' a team. We went down the wrong route by over paying has- beens and worse. It was a time to look to the future and throw promising youngsters in with backbone of experienced players, chance was missed. We are pretty much back at square one and Gerrard really needs to get recruitment right this summer. Stop paying over the odds for players who are over 30 and bring in young, improving players. Hopefully if Morelos goes any money will be used wisely.

Guys I genuinely believe that us as fans have to take some of the blame too. we expect much more than the club can afford at this moment in time . we can’t attract the same level of player we did pre 2012 as these players are now unaffordable to Scottish football nowadays. i'm hurting the same as ever other bear but tryin to be realistic on what we can achieve with the budget we have. Still think Stevie g is the man to take us forward . A few decent (first team starters) signings in the summer n we won’t be far off.

Well written chilling, problem we had was none of our youth players were good enough.
We should have went out and bought the best young lads, not Kyle, sandaza, black, fauve, cribari to name a few
Then guys like mcculloch, Miller templeton.

100% agree, when we went down we should have taken the opportunity to bring in fresh new young talent who could have completed their apprenticeships in the lower leagues and learn with us all coming up through them. ok i understand the pressure was on to get back to the SPFL asap but the money we spent while doing so could have been wiser spent and you never know we could have been selling a few now for a healthy profit. we bought players, overpaid and with no or little resell value.

Jboy sorry I can't let you bash miller he was a stand out for us coming up although a youngster should have be added next to him to learn.

Miller always set a great example.
